if you're looking for an unpretentious, neighborhood dive bar (that isn't *trying* to be a dive bar) this is your place. cheap drinks, healthy pours, friendly bartenders! pool tables, $2 a game or $5 for 3 (cash only). solid juke box! we will be back for sure!

I have been a close personal friend of the owner of The Peso ( best friends) since freshman year of high school! He and his establishment are open minded and friendly. I am writing this as a black woman who has been to many bars in the Bay Area. Compare this bar to any other and compare your experience. The owner hires only nice, kind hearted people, which he also is! Been a great guy since we met in the early 80's!
